CWS goes exclusive with Resolute

Resolute Maritime Services was appointed exclusive representative in Greece of CWS

Resolute Maritime Services has been appointed exclusive representative in Greece of ENOGIA, a French manufacturer of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) modules based in Marseille.

ENOGIA's ORC modules convert engine waste heat into electricity, reducing fuel consumption for auxiliary power. The system uses a patented oil-free microturboexpander with no metal-to-metal contact, designed for reliability and low maintenance across a long operational life. Modules are available from 10 to 180 kW and operate with heat sources from 70°C, making them suitable for a wide range of vessel types and retrofit applications.

The technology is already in service on commercial vessels. On the Paul Gauguin cruise ship, operated by Ponant, a 100 kWe module was installed as part of a green retrofit, classed by Bureau Veritas, with annual fuel savings of 96 tonnes. Three RoRo vessels built for Airbus were fitted with 180 kWe per ship, also Bureau Veritas class, with annual fuel savings of 168 tonnes per ship.

For Greek-managed fleets trading in EU waters, the reduction in auxiliary fuel consumption directly lowers both bunker cost and EU ETS exposure, while improving CII performance.

A free preliminary assessment of installation and expected performance on a specific vessel is available on request. Contact Resolute directly or visit the marine equipment section of our website.
