HELIX Marine Services (Helix SEN) delivers turnkey project execution from design to handover, EPC and EPCM support in-house and through trusted engineering and OEM partners, and shutdown, turnaround and maintenance works with high-response crews for critical path operations. Structural steel engineering and fabrication, piping and spool fabrication, mechanical assembly and installation, and vessel and terminal mobilisation support are delivered onshore and offshore from its Dakar base, with further offices in Mauritania and Côte d’Ivoire.
Engine repair, machining and steel fabrication workshops
HELIX’s Engine Services Department repairs and maintains large bore 4-stroke and 2-stroke diesel, dual fuel and gas engines, servicing major OEM brands including Woodward, Deutz, CAT, MAN B&W, Detroit, MTU and Perkins. Machine shop services cover CNC precision machining, gearbox and equipment overhaul, and custom parts fabrication, while its SWAP workshop delivers structural steel and pipe spool fabrication to AWS and ISO certified standards.
Marine surveying, inspection and ISO certified quality
HELIX carries out hull and machinery surveys, sale and purchase inspections, flag state inspections, and P&I, underwriters, owner and cargo surveys, alongside IACS-approved UT services, load testing, bollard pull testing and rope access inspections. HELIX is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, and has supported clients including BP, Halliburton, Tidewater, Swire Pacific Offshore, Van Oord, Jan De Nul and Zamakona Yards.
