Description

Gemak is Turkey’s one of the first and leading ship maintenance repair and conversion yard in Turkey which was established in 1969. Gemak Group consists of Gemak Tuzla Shipyard, Gemak TGE Shipyard, Neta Steel & Pipe Fabrication and Gemak Altınova Shipyard on totally 336.000 m2 field.

Tuzla Shipyard is founded on total 45.000 m² area, which consists of 16.000 m² closed and 29.000m² open facilities.There are 2 floating docks, 1 floating crane with 100 tons lifting capacity, various land/dock cranes with lifting capacity up to 50 tons and machining, mechanic, pipe, sheet metal, electrical etc. workshops. TGE Shipyard is founded on a total area of 87.000 m². Facilities are contained within 11.000 m² of closed area and 76.000 m² of open area.

TGE Shipyard has the world class skills required to construct and repair a variety of vessel types. Gemak TGE operates the biggest graving dock (300 x 53 m) in commercial shiprepair operation in the region and longest wet berths in Tuzla. There are total 42 cranes (portal and jib cranes) with biggest lifting capacity 470 tons (two portal graving dock cranes working in tandem).
