(BSIC), one of the large key-shipyards under the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), is mainly engaged in the businesses of shipbuilding, ship-repairing and conversion, building and repairing of offshore structures, building of large-size steel structures, designing and building of GRP boats and relative davits.
BSIC has more than 330 hectares of land, 9 km of coastline and nearly 6 km of wharf length. The Ship-repairing Branch of BSIC, has three drydocks for vessels up to 300,000 dwt, as follows:
Docks:
- Graving Dock 300,000 360m x 78m
- Graving Dock 150,000 325m x 58m
- Floating Dock 100,000 250m x 45m
